Greenpeace nor Australian Customs will be going down this year, only Sea Shepherds ship "M/Y Steve Irwin".
The only protection that these whales have got is Sea Shepherd. Even though Japan is breaking numerous international treaties the worlds governments do nothing.

Sacred Ocean - A Global Voice Against Whaling
Our planet's great whales are battling for their lives.
Whales face more threats today than at any other time in history. Commercial whaling has been banned for more than two decades – yet Japan, Iceland and Norway continue firing harpoons into these gentle creatures for products that nobody needs. More than 30,000 whales have been killed for commercial purposes since the ban on whaling in 1986. And now the magnificent humpback whale is being targeted for whaling by the government of Japan.
Sacred Ocean - Join The Global Voice
The Sacred Ocean Campaign forms part of IFAW Southern Africa's ongoing work to promote awareness among the public of the need to protect and conserve whales, to raise South Africa's profile as one of the countries serious about whale conservation and to encourage the government to retain a firm position again whaling.
Sacred Ocean is a dynamic and innovative campaign by IFAW which seeks to get to grips with what the public really thinks of whaling.

Represented by a 3,4 metre-high iconic sculpture that comprises a "frame" of whale bones, with a humpback mother and calf suspended in the central space, the Sacred Ocean campaign speaks of a crisis for whales, but also alludes to a deeper crisis for humanity, as cruel whaling practices continue.
The sculpture, which has been created by whale specialist Noel Ashton, has been placed in the foyer of the Two Oceans Aquarium in Cape Town which is one of South Africa's most visited tourist attractions.
After viewing the sculpture visitors are invited to register their opinions of whaling via a signature campaign on a nearby touch screen. All the votes against whaling accrue daily to the tally of people who vote against whaling online here.

After voting visitors will be able to take their picture and send it as a "virtual postcard" which they can email to three friends and invite them to join the Sacred Ocean campaign.
You can become part of this global campaign, and join hundreds of thousands of visitors to the Two Oceans Aquarium in Cape Town as they let us know what they think of whaling by voting here.
IFAW's Sacred Ocean campaign is intended to be as interactive as possible, so read Noel Ashton's blog and send your comments.
So join IFAW's Sacred Ocean campaign now, and help us let your voice be heard in the fight to stop whaling.

There are many many websites out there that provide information and a deeper look into the effects of domestic violence, child abuse, and the effects of domestic violence on unborn children. These are just some of the sites I have visited upon doing research on the different effects. I just thought I'd pass them on to help others out and give victims and survivors articles they can read and sites they can go to in order to find out the signs and what to look for in abusive situations as well as the causes and effects that abuse plays in the lives of its victims.
