Thank You for your support ~ The SSS team is made up of many unique members who support Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. Our goals are to educate others via special research projects, petitions, bulletins and teamwork with other groups of like minded ocean and marine life activists. Educating the public about whales and their ocean environment is part of our core mission of SSS. We believe that the first step towards conservation is the education of people both young and old, about whales and the environment they live in and about the problems they face because of - humans. It is only through education that we can gain support for conservation initiatives. It is only through education that we can gain support for conservation initiatives. It is solid research that education evolves and therefore allows us to work behind the scenes to see to it that better legislation is brought to the frontlines and passed, not only to protect the whales but one of our most important resources - our oceans, and marine life.
